I am Professor of Spanish Linguistics with a joint appointment in the Department of Romance Languages and the Department of Linguistics at the University of Georgia. I am also core faculty in the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute where I currently serve as the Director.

In August, Dr. Angès Celle will be presenting our collaborative paper entitled "Emergent mirative discourse markers" at the 35th Annual Meeting of the Societas Linguistica Europaea in Bordeaux, France.
